Major Responsibilities : · Responsible for Raw material procurement required for valve production. · Timely Release of Purchase Order as per PR received from MRP. Make PO’s for API requirements and follow as per API procedure. · Responsible for identifying potential sources for raw material vendors. Negotiate and finalise prices of new items, price increase/reduction in case of existing items whenever required. Release trial order, procure samples and get approval. Ensuring QM lot clearance and relevant feedback to suppliers. · Monitor the supplies against schedules for smooth flow of materials to production. · Monitor supplier adherence to the schedules and take suitable/alternate actions if required.…
