Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is a journey level position performing skilled work using standardized practices in HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration). Incumbents are responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, modifications, and maintenance of building systems and equipment within HVAC-R. Additionally, the HVAC-R Specialists are responsible for assisting in other trade specialties necessitating broad knowledge, skills and abilities in all areas of building repair and maintenance.
