About this role

You will contribute to the operation and evolution of the Large Hadron Collider's cryogenic infrastructure. You will lead the development, procurement, and commissioning of radiation-tolerant cryogenic instrumentation, including the replacement of industrial pressure sensors not suited for radiation environments. By deploying upgraded rad-tolerant sensors, you will improve system availability and robustness, delivering durable hardware solutions beyond temporary software mitigations. Your responsibilities Carry out R&D on cryogenic instrumentation. Validate and test radiation-tolerant cryogenic instrumentation. Manage procurement, testing, and commissioning of sensors and electronics. Replace non-qualified industrial sensors to improve system reliability and availability.…
