Role: Big Data Architect with Hortonworks Exp Location: Hartford, CT Client: Cognizant/Travelers Insurance Duration: 12+ months (with extension) Job Description: • Big Data Architect with Hadoop/Azure implementation Experience • Handson on Hive, Pig and Spark (Scala) – be able to run pilots and poc for the customer • Assist the customer in defining the Ingestion strategies, reusable frameworks to be built • Lead a small team (onsite/offshore) for executing the data provisioning – Includes Main frame sources, RDBMS, flat files etc.…
